The Loop by Studio Rhythmics

The Loop was the first project developed by Studio Rhythmics and marked the studio’s first public presentation in London, United Kingdom. The project was exhibited in collaboration with Oliver Spencer at their Shoreditch store as part of the 2025 London Design Festival’s Shoreditch Design Triangle in September.

Following its London debut, The Loop was presented at Dutch Design Week in October. The exhibition took place at Art House – United Cowboys, an experimental venue dedicated to challenging performative conventions and exploring new forms of spatial and participatory experience.

In response to each exhibition context, we adapted the scale, speed, and luminosity of The Loop to resonate with the spatial language and atmosphere of each site, allowing sensory experience to guide viewers into different modes of perception and engagement.




The Loop sits between the light and the clock. It reframes our awareness of time.
The Loop reshapes time into a flexible, customisable element that adapts to each lifestyle. Through gentle expressions of movement, light and shadow, it eases the anxiety often tied to conventional time-telling. As an instrument, the Loop becomes a companion that redefines how we relate to time.
